Ruth is unique in that she has had extensive training and experience in both nutrition and dietetics, and in genomics and molecular biology. Her career has included being a genetics professor and researcher, practitioner in clinical nutrition and genomics, and a developer of small businesses within the biotech industry. Throughout, she has remained committed to training healthcare professionals and their patients about how daily lifestyle choices influence gene expression and how to learn to make choices that are more appropriate for their personal genetic makeup in order to live a healthy, joyful life.
Ruth authored “Genetics: The Nutrition Connection” and co-authored “It’s Not Just Your Genes” with Dr. Yael Joffe. She has also published on nutrigenomics in peer-reviewed journals.
