Prof. Jose Ordovas
Jose is our academic powerhouse. He is a Professor of Nutrition and Genetics at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and at the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University. He is also a Senior Scientist and Director of the Nutrition and Genomics Laboratory at the HNRCA. He has published well over 780 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and has written numerous reviews and books on these topics. In this regard, Jose is considered one of the founders of nutrigenomics, receiving multiple honours (too numerous to mention) for his scientific achievements.
What makes Jose unique is not only his ability to lead research in the field of nutrition and genetics, but also to translate his knowledge and learning to help biotech companies implement clinically useful solutions.
