Author, educator, and clinical nutritionist, Kathie integrates the best of nutritional science and mind body modalities. Kathie graduated from Arizona State University with a Master of Science in Nutrition and expanded her conventional dietetics background with extensive training in functional medicine.
She is the co-founder of the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, an online functional nutrition training program for healthcare professionals. Kathie also directs the Center for Mind Body Medicine’s highly acclaimed “Food as Medicine” program. She pioneered innovative functional nutrition programs at Canyon Ranch Health Resorts, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and The UltraWellness Center and continues to consult at all three organizations today.
Besides being the author of two books on digestive health, Kathie is a contributing author for the numerous medical textbooks as well as a scientific reviewer for the Integrative Medicine: A Clinician’s Journal and Military Medicine journal.
